Catalyst Housing Group (CHG) is seeking a suitably experienced grounds maintenance contractor to tender for a 3 year contract for the Greenfields Sheltered Housing site situated at Greenfields, Theedway (off Billington Road), Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, LU7 9SP

At the end of the initial contract period, CHG may choose to extend the Contract for a further period of up-to 2 years in yearly intervals (3+1+1), according to the performance of the supplier/s during the initial Contract period, prevailing market conditions and our requirements. Any such extension shall be at the originally tendered prices.

Greenfields is a specialist housing development designed and built as a sheltered housing facility for mature adults aged 55 and over. The development is situated in the parish Leighton-Linslade, and offers 82 one and two bedroom apartments which offer independent living to its residents.

The grounds maintenance work will include grass cutting and edging, weeding control; management of shrubs including seasonal pruning and dead-heading; pest and disease control; tree trimming; the maintenance of hard surfaces including parking bays, foot paths, bin store, cycle store; management of the salt bins including supply and replacement of salt (assume 100 litre bins), and removal of litter from landscaping area etc. Detail requirements are set out in section 3 of the ITT. CHG reserve the right to add additional geographical site(s) within the contract period.
